Biography

Cotter is a recent Communications graduate with a deep passion for connecting with people in one-on-one and small group settings. He has been a Christian his entire life, but only took his faith seriously after joining The Navigators of Canada as a first-year university student in 2020. He spent his childhood in Orlando, Florida before his family moved to Calgary to pursue an opportunity as missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Cotter has been immersed in missions work his entire life, which alongside his deep spiritual journey with The Navigators and a direct calling from God led to his decision to join Navigators staff as a Wave Intern in 2025. Now, Cotter strives to continuously grow deeper in his relationship with God so that through His power he can create a meaningful impact in students' lives. Cotter's favourite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20 - "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives through me."
