Emily first met the Navigators at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire where she gained deeper head and heart knowledge on Jesus and his Kingdom. As her campus staff were preparing to move to Ottawa to serve students at Carleton University, they asked her, “We heard that you want to serve God internationally after graduation. Would you pray about coming to Canada with us?” One thing led to another and now Emily has been serving university students and leading teams of interns at Carleton University since Fall 2017. Emily holds an M.A. in Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. She is passionate about creating and nurturing space for people to connect with God, themselves, and others. She and her husband, Brian French, love creating this type of space around their kitchen table and on the university campus
