Biography

Gerdion grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand; although originally being from South Africa. He’s a recent graduate from Ara Institute of Technology, in a Bachelor of Music Arts, and enjoys playing a variety of instruments. Gerdion loves bringing his energy, of which he has too much, to any situation. He thrives on meeting new people, inviting them into an existing community, and encouraging that community to stay strong. Gerdion joined with Navigators as a student in 2019, and through the impact of international interns decided to follow Jesus in 2021. He is following in the footsteps of those who discipled him and decided to do an internship with the Navigators, bringing him to Carleton University, Ottawa, where he’ll be doing this internship from 2023-2025. Gerdion is extremely excited to see how God might use him to reach, encourage, and build up young men on campus at Carleton University.
