Biography

Jonathan grew up in Northern Ireland, and became a Christian at a young age, supported by the love and encouragement of his family. Growing up, he was actively involved in Church, Sunday School and Boys' Brigade, which helped shape his early faith. Jonathan is a recent graduate from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in Geography, and completed an exchange year at the University of Calgary in 2022–2023. He was drawn to Calgary by his love for the Rocky Mountains, hiking and all the wildlife. While at the University of Calgary, Jonathan connected with the UofC Navigators and made a lot of new friends. Returning to Glasgow for his final year of studies, Jonathan became involved with the Glasgow Navigators, where he once again experienced the richness of Christian community and discipleship. He’s excited to be back in Calgary having been accepted to the Wave Internship!
