The Discipleship Opportunity

The Discipleship Opportunity is the title of a NavPress resource by Daniel Im. It is also the title of a new cohort our Navigators Church Ministry (NCM) team is running this fall. 

We understand that there is a shift needed in many of our churches, a shift back to a focus on discipleship and disciplemaking. What is the path forward for your church in this post-pandemic, post-Christian, and post-everything world. 

 In The Discipleship Opportunity: Leading a Great-Commission Church in a Post-Everything World – author and pastor Daniel Im equips readers with practical ways to: 

  • reach those who are spiritually asleep in your church and community, 
  • disciple your church to know Jesus deeply, and 
  • preach differently in today’s post-everything world. 

 

Discern your church’s path forward by learning how to diagnose which shifts to make. Learn disciplemaking principles that are as straightforward as they are timely. Whether you’re a seasoned leader or just starting out, don’t miss this opportunity to emerge as a stronger, healthier, and more evangelistic church. 

During each session you will be accompanied by one of our Navigator coaches within a cohort of peers. These are times of sharing insights, additional resources, and building next steps to put these principles into action. Each session is approximately 75 to 90 minutes.

Assumption of Risk

I am aware that participation in the above-noted activities has inherent risks including but not limited to: terrain, weather, equipment, remoteness, travel, training, contact, exertion, illness, diet, other dangers and hazards, as well as negligence of other program participants or the Navigators of Canada and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers or its legal agents. I understand these could result in personal injury, death, property damage and loss. I voluntarily assume any risks associated with these activities. I will act in accordance with the Navigators and the facility's practices, procedures and risk assessments.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims

In consideration of The Navigators of Canada allowing me to participate in its activities,

  • I hereby release, waive and discharge The Navigators of Canada and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers or its legal agents from all liability for all loss, damage, injury or death to my person or my personal property injury arising from any cause whatsoever, even if caused by the negligence of the Navigators.
