Look at 2 Corinthians 6:1-2
1 As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

We enjoy the favour of God! He created us, sustains us, convinces us of our brokenness and our need of Christ, and then convinces us of our nobility, created in the Image of God, so we can enjoin Him by entering into His Kingdom Work, and we enjoy Him, by entering into His Kingdom Work! Today is that day!

The right fragrances come out of our work and ministry as this work springs from an ongoing dependence on Him!

So, what creates the right fragrances? We can expect thrilling life-transforming work of God in the midst of great difficulties! Here is an interesting Bible study you can do.

Read 2Corinthians 6 verses 1 to 13.
Make two lists on two separate sheets of paper. On one list, place the items in this chapter that were challenges, difficulties, speed bumps and complications. On the other list, place the resources God places at our disposal as we carry out His work! As I did this I came up with almost-equal lists.

Now, place one list on your left hand, and the other list on your right. Read down the lists one by one, alternating from one list to the other. As I enter into the powerful work of raising up generations of labourers who live and disciple among all people, I find myself relying on God’s Grace in the middle of significant odds.

I find God’s Grace to be sufficient for this great work, and I am found to be a disciple-maker of humility, kindness, patience, endurance, strong due to the grace of God! This is the right fragrance, rather than having to know it all, or be ahead of others, or have individual, radical insights! God gets the glory, I get to do Kingdom work, and the Grace of God is sufficient!
