Join the Wave!

Note: Applications are due by March 1st

The Wave Internship is designed to give recent university and college graduates a hands-on learning experience in vocational campus ministry. We will equip you with the vision and skills necessary to help students grow in their faith, disciple others, and become more like Jesus. Our goal is that by the end of this internship, you will be better equipped to follow Jesus wherever he might lead you!

What you’ll do:

Care: Build relationships with students, caring for them as a whole person

Practice the art of being faithfully present with students through all aspects of life as they grow and face new challenges.

Invite: Introduce students to Jesus to consider His invitation for relationship

Help students engage with the transformative power of Jesus, some for the first time. Through community, reading the scriptures together, and spiritual mentoring, explore big questions about faith and help them grow as their perspectives are both appreciated and challenged.

Equip: Mentor students as disciples of Jesus

Intentionally and lovingly mentor students and equip them to mentor others. Model how to have a personal walk with God through His Word and prayer.

Learn: Experience spiritual growth and professional development

Grow in your relationship with God and be developed for life beyond the Wave Internship. One of the amazing outcomes of this experience will be lessons and skills that are transferrable to future family, ministry, and career settings.

Choosing to serve in this role is an adventure of trusting God each step of the way. We’re in this together! Your team will be there to support you, committed to fostering your spiritual, personal and professional growth.

Is God calling you to serve Jesus in this way?

Funding Your Work
As a participant in the Wave Internship you’ll also learn to trust God in growing your financial support team. All Navigator staff are funded through “deputized fundraising,” meaning you will be fundraising on behalf of The Navigators to support your ministry budget. This may sound daunting, but you will not be alone and we will provide practical training and an experienced coach to help you reach your fundraising goals. You will learn to share your calling and mission with friends, family and other contacts as you invite them to prayerfully and financially support your ministry.
