Biography

Hi there! I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, but grew up in the UK. I am a graduate from the University of Exeter (UK) with a BSc in Conservation Biology and Ecology. I enjoy spending time growing friendships, engaging in recreational sports, reading, baking (and eating) fun treats, and exploring God’s world and Word. In 2018, with the support and encouragement of the Christian Union at my university I gave my life to Jesus. Since then my life has been an ongoing adventure of learning what that decision really means. In 2021, I moved to Ottawa for a study-abroad year at Carleton University. This was a time when all my classes were online so making friends in a new city was especially challenging! I got connected with The Navigators student group with whom I developed deep friendships and grew spiritually through discipleship. I had never considered doing missionary work so I was very bemused by my interest (and the enthusiastic encouragement of friends) in returning to work with The Navigators to disciple students. God opened doors so I stepped through them and began a year of campus ministry internship in the Fall of 2023. I thoroughly enjoyed giving back to campus ministry and seeing how God used me to be present at Carleton University! I am now working part time and volunteer with The Navigators. I am so thankful to still be a part of the university community and to work on being a faithful presence in my new circumstances.
