Biography

Claire grew up in Delta, British Columbia, and is a recent graduate from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance. Becoming a Christian at a young age, Claire was an active member of her church and youth group. However, it wasn’t until she connected with The Navigators that her journey with Christ really became her own. Claire began university in the fall of 2020, and within the first week, she became involved with The Navigators. Since then, she has served on the student executive team and played a key role in planning and hosting events, despite an intense rehearsal schedule. Throughout her time at UBC, she was encouraged and supported by her mentors and other interns, which played a vital role in her decision to join the Internship program at UBC after graduation. Claire is extremely excited to see how God will use her to engage, encourage, and support young women on the UBC Vancouver campus over the next year (2024-2025). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, singing, playing piano and guitar, and being in community with other Christians.
