Biography

Sydona was born in Jamaica and grew up in a household where her mom and sister shared the gospel often with her. Sydona’s understanding of faith grew through her late teen years after many miraculous accounts with Jesus. Her willingness to trust in God’s provision and grace led her to Canada in 2018 where she completed a Bachelor of Arts at St. Thomas University in New Brunswick. Sydona committed her life to Christ fully in September 2020 when she was called to ministry, since then her walk has led her in discipling students and friends through sharing her accounts of Christ’s presence in her life. Sydona is beyond excited and grateful to share the wonders of God’s love in her life as she is used as a vessel to serve as a WAVE Intern at the University Of British Columbia this fall.
