The Navigators Disciplemaking Forum

The Disciplemaking Forum (DMF) is a bi-weekly online gathering to learn about simple approaches to disciplemaking. Developing and equipping everyday disciplemakers is critical to the mission of the local church.  If you don't disciple someone - who will?  We know disciplemaking can seem intimidating. So often people get the idea that you must be a pastor, seminary graduate, or ministry professional to make disciples. But the gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom advances most powerfully through everyday people living like Jesus wherever they go— neighbourhood, work, play or church.

 

In Walk With Me - author Bill Mowry teaches us how to break out of a programmatic, goal-oriented mindset and get back to the New Testament model of relational, intentional disciplemaking with these five principles:

 

  • We walk heart to heart.
  • We walk simple.
  • We walk slow.
  • We walk deep.
  • We walk on mission.
During each session you will be accompanied by one of our Navigator coaches within a cohort of peers. These are times of sharing insights, additional resources, and building next steps to put these principles into action.

 

Our next DMF runs bi-weekly beginning on Wednesday, September 18th and ending on December 11th. Cost $30 (includes the book).

I understand these could result in personal injury, death, property damage and loss. I voluntarily assume any risks associated with these activities. I will act in accordance with the Navigators and the facility's practices, procedures and risk assessments.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims

In consideration of The Navigators of Canada allowing me to participate in its activities,
