Ecuador '26

Feb 13-23, 2026, students will travel to a remote Afro-Ecuadorian village in Northern Ecuador. Your contribution will help them to travel, develop relationships and to raise funds towards community development.

Students from Carleton, University of Alberta and Calgary have a heart to put their faith into action. Over the next few months they will be preparing to go outside of their culture and comforts. They will be studying Spanish, learning about the marginalized and reading about Jesus ministry, working hard to be able to leave their studies behind and make their way to the remote village during February reading week.

Each student is responsible to raise at least $4000 towards the group total. Thank you for helping them by supporting their growth through giving and prayer as together we expand the Gospel into the Nations.

Why I'm Going

I have felt God nudge me towards international missions and I was excited when this opportunity was shared. I have been part of the Navigators for the last year and have experienced strong personal and spiritual growth, in addition to making some great friends. I am super excited to work with some of those friends as we see how God is working in this community and am feeling a Spirit-led courage to take a leap of faith and do something outside of my comfort zone. I am feeling incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to have a small role in the hospital project, and am really looking forward to getting to know the kids in the camps!

I would very much appreciate your prayer support for our trip preparations and travel to go smoothly, for God to continue His work in our hearts as we prepare for this adventure, and for strength and wisdom while fundraising.
