Growing Strong in God's Family

Growing Strong in God’s Family is book 1 in The 2:7 Series. The 2:7 Series is a proven tool for making disciples. Beginning on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 7 pm Eastern (if you live on the West Coast, we may be able to do a later session - please register and send a note using the connect form) we will engage in helpful Bible studies and memorize key verses on the foundations for living the abundant life in Christ. The goal is for you to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. As you grow and become familiar with this material, you will be equipped, empowered and encouraged to lead others through it as well. We invite you to join in Jesus' Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) of multiplying disciplemakers. 

Growing Strong in God’s Family Overview: 

What is the time commitment? 

Participants attend 11 weekly online sessions (1 ½ hours each) and are asked to complete weekly assignments (approx. 1 hour) in the workbook prior to the next session. 

Where are the weekly sessions held? 

Sessions are held online using Zoom 

What are the session dates? 

There are 11 weekly sessions. The first session is Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 7pm. The final session is June 24, 2026. 

What can I expect during each session? 

Participants meet in small groups along with one of our NCM team members. During each session, participants engage in Bible study, memorizing scripture and discussion coming out of assignments from the prior week’s session. 

What is The 2:7 Series? 

The name is based on the Scripture reference Colossians 2:7—the statement of the Apostle Paul to a New Testament church: “Rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

How much does Growing Strong in God’s Family cost? 

There is a $20 registration fee, and participants are required to purchase a copy of Growing Strong in God’s Family. Options for purchase are: Amazon; NavResources; or your favourite bookseller.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims

In consideration of The Navigators of Canada allowing me to participate in its activities,
