Liana Flanagan
Biography
Liana met the Navigators as a student at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand but it was the faithful presence of Navigators staff in her life after graduation that really helped her to grow her faith and to grasp the vision of the Navigators. Largely because of the help she received in those formative early years of working life, Liana has a passion to encourage people to walk with Jesus and to make disciples in the context of everyday life and in the workplace. Liana served on campus with the Navigators of Canada at the University of Victoria for 4 years in a part-time role alongside her conventional work as a speech and language pathologist. Upon moving back to New Zealand in 2018, Liana worked for the New Zealand Navigators for 5 years leading the work among graduates/20s and serving on the national leadership team. Since moving back to B.C. in 2024, Liana has been serving with the Navigators of Canada. She leads the Navs20s work nationally as well as locally in Vancouver, is the director of the Everyday Disciplemaker ministry, and serves on the national leadership team.
