As Canada celebrates the 150th anniversary of Confederation, we thought a powerful way to celebrate God at work in our nation would be a week long discipleship adventure in the very heart of historic Banff National park.
Our venue for the week is the Castle Mountain Hostel, in the shadow of one of the most picturesque mountains in the Rockies and only 20 minutes from Lake Louise and the Banff townsite. Students from campuses across western Canada will join you for this exciting week of challenge, adventure and some awesome hiking.
We've chosen our theme for BaseCamp carefully - The 5 Essentials for a Kingdom Worker. We'll be discussing these five critical issues that are important for anyone keen about serving God and who wants to be equipped for greater effectiveness as a Christ follower. Lots of group interaction and opportunity to practically apply what's discussed.
Our speakers are Chris Barrett, a former Nav student who now serves as the National Director of the Navigators of Canada, and veteran Navstaff Luch DelMonte. Luch is a veteran NavStaff who lives in Guelph and is passionate about making disciples of Jesus. These guys are fun to hang out with and they have a lot to say to encourage and challenge you.
Mountain climbers know that a successful basecamp is critical in the preparation of an arduous climb. It is our prayer that your participation in BaseCamp Castle Mountain will help you prepare for a lifetime of adventure and effectiveness as you follow Christ.
Sign up today and help celebrate Canada's 150th birthday in a special way!
